when to spray terisias mist

I've got a small bottle, I wanna try and make some seeds from my red poison I have going. does any one have any experience using this stuff? Should I let the buds get a little bigger before spraying? 2 of my plants are about 5 or 6 days into budding, and one just started yesterday.
