Normally seedlings brings enough stored energy and food for 2 weeks. But all depends on your soil. Speaking nutrient wise., in the repot question. Is about time. But all depends in your growing conditions and lights. General rule of thumb, if u can c roots through drain holes. Transplant. Good luck!! Hope it helps

I agree with Tropical, you control the veg state, your only issue would be the container size,, so if you wanted to veg for a long time (a month or so) and had a small container (like a solo cup), the plant will grow roots out the bottom when its sick of that size of a pot. You add nutes when the plant has established a good root system to suck the nutes up,,, so if you see good roots when you transplant the clone to a larger pot I would water it first time around, then start the (veg) nutes,, then when the plant is about half the size you want it to be at harvest, flip the lights to 12/12, watch the plant for signs of budding (a week or so) and then switch to whatever flowering nutes you are using. When i use the word clone i am talking about a cutting that has roots, So i would water a 'clone" for about a week, then start adding veg nutes for about 3 weeks or so, flip the lights to 12, and the start the flower nutes after i see signs of budding.
Think of it this way,, the medium you use has no nutes.. so the plant can only live so long with nothing but water, so you need to add the food it needs one for veg then another for flower

Yea you're probably about ready to pot up. Otherwie the roots will begin to circle the bottom of the cup. When you do pot up it will likely be to a much larger pot so really I can't see a need for much nutes. I don't know if promix has much nutes though. I have never used it. (Edit, I see from Kun that Promix doesn't have nutrients).

Recently I began vegging a few plants in Fox Farms just to see what the strain was like. I paid very little attention to them and just had them under a few small cfl's. I gave them nutes only when I started to see a sign of N deficiency which was after about 4 weeks in small 1/4 gallon pots..

What surprised me was that a nice slow veg kept them really healthy.. Normally I rush veg and hammer them with light and nutes and I always run into some issue or another. To be honest my plants normally look like shit after a few weeks of flower :)

So maybe the best thing to do is just let them veg slowly and when you begin to see a little bit of N deficiency on lower leaves go ahead and feed.

Best of Luck.

well i transplanted and fed for the first time today hope i didnt mess up with adding the nutes i use only a quarter on the dose recommended heres a pic of 2 of them after transplant

Two weeks from germ or sprout? I fed mine super light nutes at 1week from sprout and am using Fox Farm Ocean Forest. I'm also running a 400watt MH but here is a picture of mine at 2weeks 2days but I had mine in a clay pot which is a no no so I had to transplant at 1 week into this big ass pot its in.

Promix potting soil lasted me about 4/5 weeks before needing nutes
Promix african violet potting soil lasted me only 2 weeks before needing nutes
I started at 1/4 nutes from there.and went up per feeding on the african violet mix due to the young plant still, and half str nutes on the 4/5 week stage plant.

Not sure if any of these are what your using. Just throwing it out there

I also use cheap veg/flower base nutes, but I do use Advanced Nutrients line of boosters.

The only issue I see here is, those pots will not be big enough to finish your girlz, you will need to repot if you want them to be nice and full and healthy at harvest time. A good rule of thumb is to use 1 gal of soil for each foot you want your plants to be. As far as feeding goes, do a lot of reading and research and as mo841 said and listen to your gurlz, they will tell you what they need, the research will tell you how to interpret their language....Good luck!

I use Promix with 50% perlite added and it works great for me...I usually will begin to add nutrients 1/4 strength after they come out of the Solo cups which is at about 2 weeks. This is how my transplant goes....I start off in Solo cups for two and a half weeks, then I repot into 2 gallon pots where they stay for about another two and a half weeks, then I transplant to 5 gallon pots where they stay another two weeks, then I transplant to their final home 10 gallon smart pots! Btw I'm running two 600's..Missing one plant in the first pic. IMG_20150509_175442.jpgIMG_20151002_180518.jpg IMG_20151015_213124.jpg IMG_20151102_075404.jpg IMG_20151029_200213.jpg
