When to look for Cubensis

It rained for about 2 and half days and I was wondering if there'd be any chance of spotting some mushies in the fields at the moment. (I know that they are in season in my country - Australia - but unsure about what time after raining there would be the most mushrooms).

after rain in spring or autumn/fall it may be to cold. i dont know the tenps there. they grow at about 70 degrees F give or take.

never hunted them but used to grow them.

Do NOT hunt wild mushrooms unless you're ready to die, get extremely sick, end up in the ER or all of the above. Get yourself a field guide, bring everything you pick home SEPARATE containers (plastic baggies) and make sure you go over EVERY aspect of each mushroom in your guide. I'm not encouraging you to eat wild mushrooms without knowledge and experience, but if you're going to, be safe.
