When to Harvest?

Dude I’m so bummed!! MY one dense plant with huge buds has some kind or rot or mold. I pulled apart the main cola today and found this!!! Then looked at some of the other buds and they have small bits of it too. Not all the buds have it.

Any idea what it is and if it’s salvagable?? I lost one plant to Hermie, one to mold during the drying and two are foxtailing. This was the only one looking normal and nice.

Sorry about that, bummer. Not sure what you can salvage from that, hope it works out for you.

These two are coming out this week. Starting to not take water and look like old. Trichs have improved.

Any techniques in last week that will help the yield or potency? Let soil dry? Dark room for 48 hours? I’ve read a lot of different wild things but curious to what you think?

Feels like you grew these girls down the stretch!! Thank you!
the 24/48 darkness is BS. You can use MH light for the last bit of its life (i do about last 12 days) if you using a hps light switch it. will make the bud a little more potent

Looking at that on my PC.. Sorry bro, i'd have to say that plant needs to be disposed of.

If there were any plants close, i'd inspect them real close. If any other plants have any rot or mold, pitch them too. It's not worth your health or someone else's health. Sorry. Hope karma comes your way on your next grow.

Can it have an effect on seedlings? I have two 5 inch plants right next to it.
My other 2 plants I moved away cause they are to be harvested this week. In fact I started hacking away already. Those two plants seem to be ok. Haven’t seen anything on them.

Yes, the spores getting on them now will affect them later in flower.

It's how we all learn.

I couldnt get pot to grow until i was an adult.

Separate, Isolate, trim off the infection, lots of air flow when drying. As little humidity as possible. NO JARS!
Have it in a room where it’s 70 degrees and RH is 49%. Bought a clock like device that shows the RH. Theres a fan blowing too to keep air circulating

You live and learn. We all have to go through experiences to become better growers. Just part of the deal. That really sucks and I've never been in a situation where I lost or could lose that much. But, hopefully you can find more positive from it than negative.

Definetly! Learned a ton from people on here. I lost basically 3 Oz’s but it’s ok, I’ve come away with 1.5 and I have a freaked out foxtailed girl that I’m harvesting later tonight that should give me another Oz.
The plant that just molded never threw out trichomes! Huge dense buds but little sparkle.
Now we know why!!

Really learned that where I live in the 100 degree heat and occasional high humidity it’s tough to grow outdoors in a space like I had. Very limited.
