when to flush?

Hey, so im about 4 1/2 weeks into flowering and the trichomes are comin in strong yet the buds are still kinda small. regardless, i was wondering when i should start my final flush before harvesting. i know it is usually 1-2 weeks before you harvest but im not totally positive on the harvest date and i was wondering if you can tell with the trichomes or hairs.

when you start to see a hint of red in those hairs then thats when you flush and stop feeding.

and nothing with the trichomes? or do those tell you when to chop? and yea i know i have a few weeks, but better to be prepared then rushing to figure it out last minute.....

the trichomes tell you when to chop. you can also tell when to flush by lookin at them.

true. also, if i flush with molasses water, would it make that much of a difference in taste and smoke vs flushing with just water?

i have heard it does that and pack on weight but i have never tried.

Start flushing at 8 weeks, chop at 10 I reckon...
