When to Flower? HELP +Rep

I'm very confused as to when to flower my plants, its Northern lights x haze from sensi, 11-13 weeks flowering, people say that they can x3 size in flower, most say to flower around 8" but then that would only be 2.5ft i'm looking for around 4ft but cant be much bigger than that maybe 5ft MAX anyone have any good opinions when to flower they are currently 6" and growing fast now i've sorted some minor issues
 
The WW strain will easily grow 3x the size it is now, while in flower. Have you topped yet or done any other training? Now would be the time to consider some topping or pinching. You can basically force flowering anytime you want to. If you are growing from seed, I would encourage you to veg for a solid month first. A 6" clone on the other hand, could easily turn into a 2-3' plant during flowering because it is already sexually mature. If you are growing from seed, I would suggest waiting until (a) the plant shows signs of pre-flowers or (b) the plant is about 12".

Are you growing in soil? What size pot?
 
They are from seed, in 10L air-pots in soil 600w HPS and these are the fems version if that makes a difference, tbh i aint looking to do any training on them, just want to grow them naturally and wont be cloning, only looking to grow this strain once
 
if you want to max out your height, you could always just bush them up big. if they start to go over four feet, screen them. i used a screen on a s.a.g.e. plant i couldn't let go over 2 and a half feet, worked fucking awesome! got like fifteen colas from the continual weaving as the branches kept shooting up!

never grown it, but sounds like you could end up with a variety of phenos. my NL is a very forgiving plant, producing chunky buds with little effort. doesn't stretch that much in flower, very dense nuggets. hazes have lighter nuggets and can stretch quite a bit. i like the haze "up" high better. NL is 75% afghani and 25% haze. your mix would thusly be 5/8ths haze and 3/8ths afghani. these are about as opposite as it gets, so get ready for a variety of possible growth patterns, flowering times, flower types, and highs. short stocky and stony, to bushy lanky and psychedelic.
 
ideally you'd get a pheno that has moderate stretch with copious budsites like a sativa, but full chunky dense buds like an indica. my thseeds s.a.g.e. is like that, perfect blend of afgani and haze IMO.

mine are looking bushy with wide thick leaves and loads of shoots but one is really thin and tall and not bushy at all but loads of shoots, there are evan 4 shoots coming out of the coty leaves lol
 
bushy mighta been a bad adjective for that style of growth. i guess i meant that if you train the top of a sativa, the sides will really become a big part of the plant, making more of a bush than a christmas tree. as opposed to a single cola indica, but really indicas are the bushier variety...
