When to flip

P8290409.jpgP8290410.jpg I am thinking of transitioning to flower over the next few days, would love some input from all your experience. I have my main light (240 LED) about 16 inches from the tops. I have room to raise the light another 16 inches. Is it way too soon to flip these babies? (pay no attention to the tiny girl in front)

As a general rule once a plant begins flowering it will get 25-30% taller. An 18 inch plant should finish 24-28 inches or so. If your unsure use 50% as your guide, once you know your strain you can dial it in better. Sounds like you have a little room yet. Why is your light so far away? I have a grower using LED'S and I swear his are 8-10 inches max. I don't use them so just wondering...good luck

I am still striving for the right distance for this light. I was lowering it a little each day, then today I had a couple leaves turning brown on the tip and curling upwards very slightly. Not sure if it is the light or fresh nutes, so I pulled the light back a tad and will look again tomorrow.
