When to begin flowering.

I am curious on how long to wait before turning the light on 12 hour cycle to start flowering, Is there a certain Hieght to look for , or what are the keys signs .. The Stain that i have choosen is TOP 44, said to be a easy going plant that does well on balconys , good producer , and the hieght of the plant is shorter then some other types of strains. I am thinking when the plant reaches 2 foot or so after i have ransplanted into final home( 2 foot pots). How does this sound?

Depending on your situation, i.e. hieght/space/time restrictions, anytime after 4-6 weeks in a seedlings life you can turn the lights to 12/12.. just be sure to transplant before 12/12 or within the first week, maybe two weeks of 12/12 to avoid damaging the plant. how long has your plant been growing?.. pics are always helpful too.

well i have a 8 foot by 8 foot sextion , what would you recommend ? I only plan on having 2 plants at all times .

A plant generallly grows a third more in height before it stops all vertical growth during flowering,so budget that in aswell or you wil have to tie them down,which can be fun..........sarcasm

I just started out basically 2 days ago and the plant has broken the soil (barley showing) , see i am using seeds and would like to know if they are male or female as soon as possible , what would you recommend ?
