This nutrient thing is messing me up..lol.
I have a 1 gallon Aerogarden and growing 3 plants in it. My plants are about 1 week old, and looking pretty damn sexy! However, the Aerogarden came with 5.5ml Liquid nutrient packs (never seen them before). They are made by "Aerogarden" and have absolutely NO info on them..they just say ..."Add 2 packages at every feeding"...they have absolutely no levels on the packet of what they contain. I got the Aerogarden off eBay, so no instructions came with it. When do I start adding the nutrients?, and how much do i put in?.. I just ordered a PPM meter which I am still waiting for it to arrive (have no clue how to use it).
I have read many threads on this, and it seems everyone has mixed ideas on when to start adding nutrients to the resevoir. Some say 2 weeks..others say right away....confused which method is better.
Also, When I get the PPM meter, what level am I aiming for on it to keep them healthy without nute burn?
Below are pics of my 1 week old babies, as well as the packets I am trying to explain. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help.
Oh yeah..the Aerogarden DOES have a "add nutrients" light that does go off when you are supposed to add more..but it is kinda dumb because it does not measure the amount of nutrients in the water..it just goes off every 2 weeks automatically. (kinda useless).
