When the Hills of Los Angeles are burning

Hey, Y'all,
I've been keeping up with the fires around Southern California. I live in the city, so no fires, but the sky has this eerie orange glow, and I was wondering if anybody out there has seen anything up close. Now, it is difficult to feel sorry for the folks in Malibu, but these fires are everywhere and they are getting worse; at least that's what the news is saying.

Anybody know any updates or live in a threatened area? Just want to know what's going on from anyone who might be out there.

I live like close as hell to one, I forgot which one exactly, but yeah I can see it from my window.

I heard they got some a third of one contained, so thats good.

i live about 50 miles from the Zaca fires in central cal and you could see the flames flickering at night..i guess they finally put those out though after 4 months..sucks about the socal ones though
