whats up, i just choppedmy girl last night and it is curently hang drying. they lost a lot of smell over night and was just wondering when they will gain smell back. once there ready to be put in glass jar?
when smell comes back after harvest??

Yea, it will come back. Sometimes you get that cut grass smell while its drying too.
Hang it for a week in a cool dry place then bag it in paper bags let it set for 2 days then jar it. 2 or 3 days and you will start to get that smell back but stronger. I let mine cure for a month before I smoke any.

But doesn't drying/curing longer remove more of the chlorophyll resulting in a smoother smoke?
I think using paper bags dried my buds too fast. If you do use paper bags, I suggest checking every 6 hours or so. I'm in a lower humidity area, and am considering a humidifier in my dry area for next time. I think 55-65% humidity is pretty good for hang drying. No direct air flow, and keep it dark. You have to dry slow, but not so slow that mold grows. Good luck!
