Sometimes it's more like 100 to 1. You are not ready to transplant. Wait a few more weeks.

Its only in about 3 inches or 3 1/2 inches of dirt, and the root is sticking out of the drain hole.

Wait till it's established. Here is a link to my current grow. I'm going to transplant in a day or 2. I'll take a pic of the roots for you to give you an idea, just give me about 15, ok

Ok this plant came out of the dirt on Jan 1st, so it's 11 days old from seed. As you can see the roots are well established, but not to the point were I'd slice it up a bit for new growth when transplanting. This is in an 18 0z party cup. I will most likley transplant today or in the next 2.

your plant is completely root bount in these pics - you should have done the transplant sooner (althought it wont hurt it that much) just make sure you pot into big pots rather than doing it several times
IM IN 5 GALLON POTS AND THERE WAY TO SMALL - WISH ID WENT INTO 8 GALLON POTS BUT NEVER MIND - FIRST GROW AND ALL
