When should I transplant

I have a Nirvana Wonder Woman Femenized plant that is 28 days old from seed. Currently in 18/6 cycle with 400w hps 6'' from top. Temps are 65ish when dark and around 85 with lights on. Wonder woman was transplanted once when when it was about 6days old. I let the roots fill small 7oz cup and then placed in about 2gal pot. Soil used was Foxfarms Ocean Harvest.

I have been wondering how much nutes I should be feeding her. I have just started 800ppm water total ( thats counting 120ppm tap water, AN Sensi grow A+B, Voodoo Juice, Revive, and Superthrive. Small quantities of each totaling 800. Water is Ph 7.0. Trying to bring down a little. Some of lower leaves have brown spots, and a few uglie spots, but most of her is lush green and growing like crazy. Is that normal for lower leaves to have brown spots. leaves are totally blocked out by the sun - no light.

Wonder Woman has atleast 8 nodes, Can't count all the leaves because its so compact. Shes 12'' wide and only 8'' tall. Im so proud of her.

My other Plant is Dutch Passion Purple #1. She is 6 days younger, And doesnt look half the size. Shes about the same height but not near as bushy. I tied her down twice *lst. Her bottom leaves look worse. Brown spots, two leaves look like a much lighter green. I havent gave her as much nutes as the other because of the size difference. Both plants are in the same size pot.

I just noticed today that they both have roots going out all the holes in pot. Should I go ahead and transplant? I figured 2 gal of soil would take them longer to occupy. There only 28days old and 22days old from seed!!

Sure you can upgrade, but make sure not to over do it w/ the nutes, when there is extra space where roots have not yet occupied nutes can get locked up in those areas, causing PH probs and other things. Sounds like your roots want a little more space tho.

O and brown blotches are "normal", but you don't want them.

Mostly from what I read and see they sound like nutrient deficiencies. But find it hard to believe because I feed them generously and also foliar feed them. I then started giving them revive but cant seem to get the bottom leaves to change. Since they don't get any light and are very low I try not to get to worried about them. And She is starting to give off a good aroma after I have touched her. I also noticed there are some White pistils at the top 2 nodes.

"Generosity killed the plant", well I just made that up. It has truth to it tho, if you over feed it it will show signs i.e. brown blotches. Just don't love your plant to death. Sounds like everything is A-Ok so far. Any pics?

I wish I did, I can't find the power cable to my camera. I gotta buy another one but am too broke. Now I gotta shell out $12 on another bag of Foxfarms and prob $5 for two 5 gal pots. I wanna make my girls happy.

At the rate there roots are growing then they will outgrow 5gals even. Hell they used up 2 gals space in 28days. And I prob veg tell the end of month. and then 60 days flower. So thats like 70 more days!!

I wanna totally fill up my 2X3X5 ft space. So prob veg when about 18'' tall or so.

haha in July I moved from San Diego to Lubbock. It was very windy during the summer, well hell it's always windy, but it has only snowed once maybe twice so far and very lightly.

Take care and keep growing : )

Well the first month is for establishing a very good root system, so it can further feed itself when it fully hits overdrive in the vegetative state. So the roots will calm down soon, then boom your plant will work on it's foliage, and then your gonna be like "WOW".

I hope your right. Maybe the beneficial bacteria that Foxfarm puts in there soil, and the Voodoo Juice I gave them, made the roots grow so fast. I just wasn't expecting the roots to be sticking out the bottom of the pot about 1" when I picked her up today. I got 9'' diameter by 9'' tall pots. So reckon thats about 2gal. I think im gonna put the in 5 gallon pots or buckets Friday.

I was told by the grower who gave me all my advanced nutrients and pots that they are big enough to finish in, but feel more root space can't be a bad think and am hoping for the best.

Ideal pots are 3-5 gal. pots. So your buddy kinda fibbed. You should be just fine w/ 5 gal. pots.
Good luck dude, and get that cord for the cam, and post some pics in the future. Everyone loves those, and you would have gotten a lot more attention on this matter had you posted pics.

Today I bought two bags of Foxfarm Happy Frog (12quart bags) and 2 of the biggest pots they had. Guy said there about 4gal pots. It took most of the two bags.

When I took old plants out of pots carefully as I could, I saw white roots all around. The roots looked really healthy.

Now I suppose growth will be delayed for a few days tell they get adjusted. And hope I didnt cause them too much stress.
