well i was just wondering when i should transplant my future plant? im just asking like 1/2 weeks from sprouting or what?. and im going to get a 5 gallon bucket and fill it up wit total compost and manuar.

ok this is the lamp i have right now. its a heat lamp, it has the red tint to it which gives off red ray's. i originally used this to keep my chickens alive in the winter but know its summer, so am i able to use this ?

No Grow would reccomend flahlights but don't listen to him he's No Grow..lol
What is your budget like? If you are limited get cfls if not look into some HID lighting.

Have you seen the pics of my plants......Pretty damn good for cfl's......

Thats what I would recommend if you don't have the funds for a HID light.
You can get them everywere wal mart, lowes, any place that sells light bulbs.

No I haven't seen your CFL grow, or maybe I have, is it in the grow journal area? I'm using CFLs right now too, it's so hot outside. They are cheaper but if you can afford it go with HID lighting, MH/HPS look under lights in the growfaqs.

if this is your first grow then i would suggest you to stick to bought fertilizers rather then manure mixes, chances are to high that you screw up this way. besides, a heat lamp is a worth nightmare in lighting a grow, way to hot, wrong spectrum of light and wasted of power.
next thing is that you should start with a small pot and work up to bigger volumes slowly to prevent over-watering which causes root-rot. if the old pot is fully filled with a rootball move up to a bit bigger one.
for soil, try to use a light mix that drains well, get some premium potting soil which is NOT loaded with time released fertilizers, this is important! mix this soil with perlite, if you can't get your hands on perlite go for sand or expanded clay.

read the FAQs;)
