When should I flower?

Hello room. New grower here.
I have a sativa plant. Its about 8" tall. 33 days from seed. I'm growing in a 4' tall tent. When should I flower? I know sativa strains are hard to grow indoors. It was a unknown strain. I also know it will grow a little taller once I switch to flower. I need some advice.

Most satvias/sativa doms are known to be stretchy. Some can stretch up to 3 feet during flower. Depending on your space, that can become an issue. Something to think about. So, if you are short on space, you may wanna flip asap.

Most sativas stretch 3x size when flipped. To keep shorter and increase yield try lst'ing before flipping

When I flower a sativa in my 5' high tent I go 12/12 from start and bend it as it grows, I use a 600w hps bulb, what kind of light are you using?

Thanks for the reply fellow growers. I Will be using 400w hps.

Flower now

Edit: continue to treat it like it's in veg even with the lights being at 12/12, it will need time to sexually mature before it starts to produce flowering hormones, during this period keep temps, humidity, and feeding schedule of vegging plants, switch to flower mode when the stretch ends (around thumb tip sized buds) happy growing
