When should I flower?

Hey guys, I've been wondering when I should flower my plant.

It is A month and a half old right now and is at 9 inches tall.

I don't want it to get more than around 20" tall total so I feel like I probably need to flower it soon.

This is my first grow so i messed a few things up so it's a little smaller than it should be at this point.

But what do you guys think about when I should flower? If I do it now it'll get to be at least like 18" right? And that would be perfect for my box.

And has anyone ever tried the 24 hours of darkness before flowering? Did it make a difference?

I know the leaves are droopy, they are currently recovering from an over watering. I just added two more lights to it and some fertilizer so it should start taking off a bit.

Next time LST man. It's teh secks. pix are too small. It will double in size, so for the Size you want, flower now. But honestly if it was me, I'd make room and let that baby go for another 2-3 weeks.

What nutes are you using?

You can top,lst,super crop,and or scrog your plant still,and if you consider to,wait till "she" (assuming you know the sex of your plant) is healthy so she doesn't endure any more stress while she is unhappy.

I amusing some miracle gro blue crystal nutes. i know a lot of people say to never use them but that's all I can get my hands on at the moment.

My heart's not really set on it, it's just all I can get. Any homemade alternatives you'd like to suggest? (I'm broke so I can't buy any other nutrients)

And If I do decide to top it, should I do it now or towards the end of vegging?

Now, you will get multiple colas wherever you top making your plant bushier if you wait longer it will get tall.

Dude buy a fish from the fish market let it sit outside(away from your house cause it will get smelly)and let it rot and then add water too it once it has decomposed about 75%.stir and shake in a bottle and there you go,you have your own organic fertilizer.(fish emulsion)works wonders on weed plants(trust me)

Ok, I just did a "FIM" type topping. Hopefully I did it correct. I'll post pre and post pics in my journal, thanks a lot guys.
