When should I feed?

Hey there, Ill get right to it. I am curious how far do EWC go? I mixed up your basic soilless with Pro-mix HP, 30% perlite, 30% EWC. How long roughly do I have until I start giving them food? I just popped 5 AK-48 fem seeds and they will go under the light tonight but thinking ahead when should I start feeding? Or can I add anything to prolong giving them anything? Thanks!

Hi how are you today? I would recommend Kelp Juice at this stage until the get bigger, they really dont need food until they have some nodes growing and looking like they need some food. I use the Kelp Juice to help root clones faster too. I use it from seed to adolescence and then I go to baby food. MD

This was a plan I was going to follow, there are other recipes for later stages of growth and flowering.


Clone/Seedling Brew (less than 4 weeks old):
1/2 Cup of Earth Worm Castings or Alaskan Humus or fresh compost
2 1/2 TBS Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses
1 tsp Liquid Kelp Extract
Mix in 2 1/2 gallons of non-chlorinated water

Once a week until roots are over 1inch. Then same mix plus 2 TBS Mycorrhizae Fungus product (Oregonism XL).

Although 1 question, I see people using panty-hose full of compost as a tea bag in the water while brewing teas,
& I have also seen people throw compost straight into a 5 gallon bucket and mix everything else in, any thoughts?

My preference is the panty hose trick, and then I mash the mesh like every 20 minutes or so to make sure the center is getting all juicy. Looks like you have a solid plan going! MD.
