when shoul a plant begin to have a strong smell

I have 4 plants that have been flowering for 2 weeks and all 4 have pistols coming out of all over but the smell is not that strong yet i was wondering is something wrong or should i just chill and wait longer into flowering for the smell to be strong. oh yeah it's bagseed
These pict's are from the first week I'll take some new pict's today and post
