When making butter.

I don't use a freezer when making cannabutter. I grind roughly in a mini food processor and then decarb at 240F for 40 minutes.
 
I have read many post about making butter and I read that freezing was thought to help just couldn't recall when in the process. Just trying to make the most of what I have.
 
I freeze after the first hour of cooking. Freeze for at least 4 hours. Then I cook again for 1 to 3 more hours...there is something about the expanding and contracting of the freeze...sciency stuff that I can't remember
