when growing,,i heard that a plant needs to be mature before flowering. so when is a plant mature enough? does it have to grow for a long time or does it just need to be a certain height? i heard the longer time it grows, the better the weed will be, but is that a good idea for someone growing indoors.? whats the best size and or time?

the longer you veg the more weed you will get, shouldn't effect potency. but if you are growing indoors you have to consider how much space you have and how far your light will penetrate

You should let a plant veg under 18/6 or 24/0 light and dark cycles for about 4-6 weeks..I wait until my plants are at least 2 ft before I induce flowering. But i've heard people start there plants on a 12/12 cylce from seed forcing early budding. Ultimately it is up to you.

im concerned about quality, not quantity, so what is best? letting it grow longer or taller? or it doesnt matter at all.. and thanks for the quick reply's! lol

^^What he said..Be patient, dont over water, or over nute, and you should be fine. I have brought plants back from death row, and they turned out great in the end.

Depends on space. I prefer bushy and less than 24" after stretch, which I control with a vertical growth inhibitor called Bushmaster.
BushMaster 1

The one below is 21" with 10 inches of planter, thus only 11" tall, with a 3 foot canopy, 7 inches thick/deep. About 2 Z's cured. Under shoplights only.
