So i just got my soil mixed last night and was wondering what the average time it takes for everyone's mycelium to start showing, i have searched around and and saw 1 day, 10 days, sometimes it dose not grow...so how bout you, when do you start to see it forming? i mixed it in my smart pots by hand (yes im so fucking sore )and now have them under a peace of tin to block the rain and sun. and it only took 7 hours lol here is my mix if interested.
5-45 gallon smart pots-225 gallon = 31cu ft = 1.1 cu yd 1 pot= 6 cuft

10 cuft horse compost-17 5 gal buckets
10 cuft pro mix bx
10 cuft rice hulls only used about 7

NUTES - 5 pounds = 15 cups started running low on last pot so added extra compost
1/2 cup to 1 cu ft
kelp meal, alfalfa meal, neem meal, fish bone meal, crab meal, gypsum, azomite,

5 gall bucket = 0.6 cuft / 5=3cuft used to measure everything out

usually within a couple days as long as its covered (in the dark). a piece of panda film or plastic on the surface of the soil helps keep moisture high in that region, allowing mycelium to form its conidiophores and hyphae without drying out. even if you don't see it directly, it's still happening in the soil

I cook my soil in a big ass tote with a few air holes drilled in it! I like to sprinkle bokashi on top and let it sit for about a week let it all build up them mix it into my already cooking soil!
