I would try and avoid this its not always for the best, the 2 you get are not always going to out do the 1 good centre stalk you would get if you just leave it be, i always feel its better just to leave them do their own thing, the tip can sometimes be awsome if just left alone.

im guna try the FIM method in my next grow,if i was you id try bending a plant aswell to see what results you get,that way the buds at the bottom will grow bigger,what lighting hav you got?

I would not reccommend that. The plant would spend the first 2 weeks in flowering phase stressed out and this when you should be having explosive growth. It is always a better plan to allow the plant to complete the recovery of being topped or fimmed before flowering. That process usually takes 2 weeks.
