When do I know when to start flushing?

Hi!

Everythnig I read relates to when to harvest .I have a general idea what to look for and am going (trying) to be very patient. I know I still have a bit to go (Afghani #1 six weeks flowering)...but what do I look for to start flushing? I am hydro and want to flush starting two weeks prior (I think). What does a bud look like two weeks prior?

id say when none of your buds are completely covered with white hairs. i have some buds that are all orange hairs, while others are all white, so im going to wait till the white ones start turning.

thats a macroscopic way of telling. you need a microscope to check trichomes that way you can harvest when you want based on what kind of high you like

do it when the nugz in the middle start turning brown/orange/red

WTF? if you have brown buds, then thats some SHWWAGGGGGG.
