when do I know plants are ready to go into flowering

So i have been growing 33 days now but i am getting more and more paranoid about when i should put my plants into their flowering cycle.smutpeddler

Dude make it worth your time, you can send them out as soon as they show there sex, but give them 2-3 months of good veg, then 12/12.
Now just after bud set (approximately 3 weeks) reset timers to 13 hrs light/11 dark. That really kick them into overdrive, but only for 2 weeks, they need the other 3 plus weeks to to fully develope.

12/12 for flowering. They need the 12 hours of dark...
You can start whenever you want to. The plant will doublew or triple in size during flowering.
I like to flower when my plant gets to be 8-122 inches tall....
If you have the room, veg for months and max out on yield....

It should be noted that if you're using CFL lighting then larger plant size doesn't mean larger yield. If you're not using HID then you should force flowering before the plant reaches 20". When this upper bound is breached, you run the risk of loose, leafy buds.

114 inches is a big difference in sized. you must be really indesicive about when you want to go into flowering.
and yes you can begin flowering at any time. 12/12 is the proper light/dark ratio. the longer you veg the larger the plant. not always meaning larger yeild. can mean that but doesnt always. sometime if the plant gets too large before the flowering stage it cannot support the growth of big dence buds so you end up with a lot of little nugs from the tips of all the stems.
