when can I spray my nutrients on leaves in the veg

I want to foliar feed to reduce soil acidity(with Maxicrop), but ive heard you dont start foliar feeding the same time you would start normal feeding when in the veg do you start foliar feeding? I know not to do it in flowering at all.

i use spray n grow all the time every couple of days all the way through just not the last week or so of flowering
