did yours stretch?

I started mine on 600W MH day 3 from coming out of Rapid Rooter. I was 2 feet 6 inches away with air cooled hood. That was the day I noticed the plant became healthly looking. In fact, I recorded in my journal that day "Health Begins." Before they looked a little skimpy. Next time I may skip the T5's. NO STRETCH.

I just posted what I about to say here in a CFL journal. I think it is ok to go ahead and put them under the MH now. I do. Here a few pics. The larger plants are at 18 days (old school skunk) the dixie cups are at 7 days. (deisel ryder) And it is just a 400w MH, so max lumens is not an issue. If you have a larger watt lamp, just back it off a bit. Hope this helps and Happy Trails! PS and those little bastard skunks already stink to high heaven! I do not grow them that often, but what a BUZZ!

You are off too a good start! I wish I could get my humidity up. I run around 30% or so, but no worries, least fungus and the like has never been an issue. Just a bit of slowed growth I think? And thanks. I think they are coming along nicely. I will be following your grow if you continue to post. Happy Trails!

I always bring in the MH light after the first week and keep a good eye on it to make sure I dont stretch or fry my seedlings.
