When and how did you learn to roll?

There was this really steep hill and when i was 5 I tried to take a nap on it. Something happened and I got real dizzy. I showed my sister and we had fun for hours, then threw up.

one day when i was 17 i just sat down with some italian seasoning and got busy. i used to roll a certain way where they all came out pregnant and had seams and now i roll perfectly cylindrical cigarettes with tips. i'm fuckin fancy.
 
never learned, i prefer to smoke out of a pipe anyway, even though you get higher faster with joints and blunts, you waste so much weed when if you put it into a pipe the same amount of weed will give you like the same high without smoking so much

That's my exact thinking. If I'm paying 40 bucks an eighth I want the best bang for my buck. But once I can sit back and enjoy weed without thinking about the money I paid for it, then I'll start rolling like crazy
 
i used to be able to roll joints, but i cant anymore...and i never learned how to roll blunts.
 
When I was in college I knew an older guy who introduced me to smoking pot multiple times a day. He made small joints but they were uniform and smoked well. Ever since I knew him I tried to roll my self and eventually became really good at it

That's also what I use to think, until California's marijuana economy collapsed.

Which brings me to this. I pay $25 1/8 for top-shelf, so it's easier to afford more.
Tends to get you smoking blunts more often.
I think a large portion of the people who smoke blunts are from California.
It seems like the only way to reach that "level" oh high.

Surprisingly, never learned how to roll. Always used a king-size blunt-roller.
Lol the irony.
I do need to learn although.
 
I walked in on my uncle rolling a joint when i was like 14 and he showed me what he was doing... he let me practice weed free... like 6 months later some guys at school said they had hash but didnt know how to roll... boom... over night i became the roller... got away for ages with out having to buy weed just because i could roll.... Nice....

And smoking weed from that age at school is not cool or productive!!!
 
despite smoking since I was 11, I didn't actually learn to roll till I was probably 18. There was always someone else to roll it for me. But when I moved out on my own I moved to the other side of town and found myself getting high alone more, so I finally taught myself. †LOL† even then it was a good bit longer before I didn't have to stuff my joints because they came out way to loose.

Years later I found myself transporting 30-40 lbs 24 hrs up north. I would be clean the whole way up there, obviously, but would come back with an ounce for the trip back. On my first trip back I learned to roll one handed. I was so fucking proud of that. They weren't works of art by any damn means, but I did it with one hand and they were smokable, and to me, thats all that mattered. With that said, last time I tried to do that I completely fucking failed. Guess I need to take another roadtrip when I get the chance. :blsmoke:
 
I learned to roll it the summer of '82 whille trippin on sunshine micro-dots...my buddy was selling joints and we would roll like 100 joints every morning while the dots were kickin in, then we would go down to the lake and smoke and trip all day....by wintertime, I could roll a joint in a blizzard, 60 feet off the ground on a ski lift, juggling 2 ski poles and a pint of Jim Beam...and still have time to smoke it before we got to the top of the hill....those were good times:blsmoke:
 
My friends are all great at rolling, so I've never really had to learn. As others have said, when I'm by myself I'd much rather smoke out of a pipe, bong, or vaporizer anyway. I've just never had the patience to learn how to roll... I just get frustrated and pissed off lol.
 
If the weeds already broke up I can roll a dutch in 24 seconds.I timed it lol.
Can probably roll with my eyes closed if its cracked and got weed in it already.
 
I self taught myself when I was about 16 and in 16 years have gotten to where I can roll a very good joint...in any kind of paper ;) I can't trick roll...but they do look like cigarettes and burn like perfection. :)

since i got my grinder they are perfect for sure! ;)
