...when a plant dies

If a small plant (2 pairs of trueleaves, about 5cm tall) around 3 weeks old died (of overwatering or just about anything else) would it fall over? Or could it continue to stand and just sort of dry out and wither away?

I know most people would cull out a plant that was in such harsh shape but after watching a young seedling recover from a very deteriorated state, I'd really like to see what they're capable of and what I can learn from them... if they go 2-3 weeks without growing, and continue to lose their color (turning pale yellow) are they just really unwell or could they already be dead?

pale yellow is certainly a sign that the plant is sick. drooping plants can be a sign of over watering as well as under watering. in my opinion i would not do anything but keep light on it for a few days. sometimes you just gotta stop caring so much and give them time to do their thing

What you could do is, let the soil dry out and mist the plants so the roots can dry out abit. get it on a 20/4 cycle and they will come back, pot is very hardy
