What's Your Living Situation?

What exactly is your living situation? You live in a house, apartment, trailer, cardboard box? Do you have roommates? Are you an owner? Renter? Inquiring minds want to know!

I just moved into a one bedroom apartment this last week. It's real legit, I'm only in a building with 7 other tenants. All the apartments are ground level so I don't have anybody above or below me. I have a garage and I have my own washer and dryer inside my apartment, and i'm just living by myself. Haven't had a place strictly to myself in about three years, and I'm loving it thus far. Plus I'm close to campus and most of my neighbors seem pretty cool, so I'm not too worried about anyone ratting me out for toking; regardless, I'm still being cautious.

So what's your sitch?

Own my own 3 bedroom house, all by myself for now since the divorce. Will probably be loosing it soon to forclosure though since the damn women get 48% of my paycheck I can no longer make the payments.

I walked away from the house I used to own ... part of the divorce. Now i live alone in a rented house. I'm looking to buy, but in my new socioeconomic bracket, that is not easy. cn

No; my notmy house is sort of dustbunny colored, in and out.

I must visit your greenhouse thread ... the bushes must be getting big. I'd rather bet my hedge than hedge my bets ... cn

Own a big farmhouse centered on 40 acres. You can't even see another house from most of the property.

I'm envious, but only partway. i'm not up to the labor involved in keeping a 40-acre spread operating.

But i'd love to visit with my telescopes. cn

It is hard work. I'm relaxing from putting up a new fence line today across the back half of the property trying to get ready for Winter. Last year my cows got out and made it to my neighbors a half mile away, it wasn't fun tracking them down.

But yeah, kinda makes it worth it when I look up at the sky at night. Missed that last meteor shower though.

rent an appartment from this cool company. better than last situation. by my self. in college paid for by ssi. if only the jobs where here. but hey im in college it makes it a little fun.

Own a triplex. With my pregnant wife. Top floor is a vacant rental. 2nd floor is our main living area. 1st floor is the workshop, office and where the magic happens. I sit on a measly <1/2acre. I like it. Minus the measly <1/2acre.

I've always wanted a place with a decent amount of property like 420, even with all the work it would take to maintain. I like working hard, when it's for myself or someone who actually needs it, I've never been the biggest fan of working hard just so some shmuck can line their pockets.

But, currently I live in a one bedroom apt with my girlfriend. In under a month with will be moving to a two bedroom apt.

If your parents are cool, living at home can be legit.

I was living with my parents this summer. My dad and I started a grow together actually. I'm nervous as hell though because I'm not at home to help guide the plants through the harvest. However, I taught my dad what to do, and I told him to call me if anything ever goes wrong; I'm only 45 minutes from their house so I can swing over there if have to, like if there's a plant emergency or something. I'm sad that I can't check on my girls everyday, but the good thing is is that I only see them once a week, so I really get to notice the growth they make. For instance, I moved out on the 12th, and when I moved out my plants hadn't started flowering yet. However, I visited my parents on Saturday (the 18th) and my plants were finally starting to bud. I'm so excited to FINALLY see them flowering. I was starting to feel like it was never going to happen (first time grower, am antsy).

rent a 3 bedroom. no neighbors. national forest behind the house. a buddy stays here and helps in the garden in exchange for rent.
