I sure like the Black Gold organic.. it's just good dirt, perlite and worm casings.. it's less expensive than what I was using.. it is good soil.
As for 'still using' soil.. heck, took me years to get back to it.. It's the only way to go for a guy like me.. good ol 'water it and forget it' no maintenance, we can leave town for the week if needed on a moments notice, soil..

We like M3 (Michigan Medical Marijuana Mix) just water until flower- then add Papa's perfect poop as a tea or top dress (it's the same mix of nutes that's in the soil) all 100% organic, no heavy metals....
We also like Pro-mix for some strains that have to be "babied' so we can control the feed 100%

Fox Farm's Happy Frog...All the way through. A perfectly lightly nuted well drain, pH 6.5 soil.
Not the best soil in the world, but definitely the best available at the local shop.

I mostly use pro mix, but recently mixed up a batch of super soil soooo will see in a few months

The local 'Fred Meyers' grocery store has everything I need to grow some of the finest cannabis in the world *snicker*.. (snicker in a 'no, really' kind of way)...

We're lucky- we live where M3 is produced (1/2 hour away) and it's available all over Michigan and Colorado... you can order it on-line from Michigan Grow Shops- but I think the shipping cost would seriously suck.

Fox Farm Ocean Forest straight from the bag. Just pop my seeds in the dirt, water, and watch 'em grow. Never experienced any problems with it being too "hot" or anything like that. And the only nutes I use are Veg + Bloom from Hydroponic Research. That's it, nothing else.
