Epic 8" Hood powered by a 1000w Hortilux Platinum ballast, Hortilux Daylight Blue bulb for veg and Hortilux Super HPS for flower.

Most all ballasts get the job done. Each hood has its + and -

I have a raptor 6in, using solistek matrix 1000w dimmable. Bulbs are digilux with the exception of a super hps hortilux i used last grow that was thrown in on one of my ballast purchases. My last grow was far from perfect and after thinking about what i really went through i ended up with right around 30oz. Setup works well when given the opportunity to succeed
