the stuff is cheap, under 15 bucks or an big amount
i got a big bag from costco for under 20, the stuff will last me forever

use a warmer water to mix it up then put it in 60-70F water
for instants if you are doing a gallon, measure a gallons worth of water, then pour some of that water into a small container warm it up in the micro and mix in a gallons worth of epsom in that, the put it back with the rest of the water, and the water your plants with that
warm water, not HOT, leuk warm
