What's wrong with these clones??!

Hello I took 3 cuttings from a rudeboi of mother about 3 days ago. I made the cut at 45 degrees immediately submerged the stem and then after 15ish seconds made the second cut in the water (at 45 degrees again) I then dipped into clones rooting gel and put straight into soil. They have been under a single cfl with ziplocks creating individual humidity domes. They looked great til today and now look as follows. Is my process wrong? Is this normal? Please help! Thanks in advance!IMG_20180920_193644.jpg MVIMG_20180920_193558.jpg IMG_20180920_193513.jpg MVIMG_20180920_194313.jpg

I'm with Dynamo626...trim up the larger leaves; basically cut them in half. Keep the bags on the girls, except when you need to water them and be patient. They aren't going to grow over night per se, and you just bush whacked them off their mother. You can't expect them to be all that happy just yet. Worry about them if they look like this 2 weeks from now; otherwise, steady goes the course. You'll be fine.

Trim the leaves up. The larger the leaf area is the more the resperate. The more they resperate the more chance they have to wilt.
Definitely what Dynamo said!
Cur, scrape the stem lightly on the lower part to remove the protective layer. Dip in cloning gel and then in mycchorizae . Great White is excellent but Mykos is fine. Insert straight into soil.
Yes (I forget the actual name of it) that protective layer definitely slows this process way down...which will lower your rate of successful rooting, since it'll take longer to put out roots. Great White is great to have around anyways, so I'd try to get some if possible :) Amazon is where I get mine. Hope your little ones perk up soon!

I will look into getting some for my next round of clones! And when you say scrape do you actually remove a layer of the plants stem or just lightly graze a blade across it? Sorry if that doesn't make sense

No worries I know what ya mean! :) If you notice how there is a hair thin layer of clear-ish green on the stem, which is the layer that peels off in strings when you snap off branches of a plant, that is the layer you want to remove. You should be able to lightly graze a sharp blade over it to remove it, it will sort of 'peel' off. It kind of reminds you of bark on a tree. Some say it's not neccessary...and I'm sure it's not. But it does seem to give the stem a larger area to sprout roots out of.

they look fine, keep them under low light levels with a night cycle. Maybe cut some holes in the bags so there is some air circulation and take off the lowest leaf (a little wilting is no big deal). After a week, keep tabs on the main shoot and look for signs of new growth, it will start out very slow but it will be there. Be patient.

Awesome thank you! I will definitely do that next time!

I've had them 24-0 should I go 18-6?

It works. Probably about the same as 18 or even 16. I read about 4 years ago 21/3 for clones. Never did any experiments to compare with other cycles. Read 21 hours so thats what i have allways done and they root fine. Side note i prefer seeds since i discovered mainlining. Now the only time i clone is if its for someone else.
