The majority of the leaves on my month and a half old plants have white spots all over them. What might have caused it?

Have you had a look if there are any bugs? looks like spider mites,

They are very tiny they look like black dust flakes to the naked eye.

They sell spray bombs for mites (Dr. Doom/ FoxFarm/ etc.).....I used some veg safe garden spray on the underside of lower leaves (not buds) before the mites spread. Mites don't like high humidity is what I've read....excess air movement seems to deter them somewhat.....I think I'd try a bug bomb of somekind if I had the problem again. Look under leaves that are affected, like VNbenny stated....brown specks, also look closely for tiny white specks....check them out with a microscope or magnifying glass.....brown specks can be seen moving on ocassion with the naked eye.

i have had spider mites many times on plants outside since i have a big garden, i use NEEM OIL, its extremely effective and keeps all bugs (spider mites, white fly, aphids,etc..) away for 3-4 days, kills spider mites in minutes.

You must spray hole plant, top to bottom all leafs coverd, even with up to 6 weeks in flowering you can use it since its organic you must respray every couple of days for eggs that would have hatched.

Do take caution to not spray when not needed since it slows growth a little as i experienced.

neem oil can be orderd from the internet or bought at some garden centers, i buy mine from a growshop, good luck.
