whats up with this seedling?

whats up with this weird seedling? looks like it's trying to crack open but just can't do it. anything I can do to help it or does it just need time? it's been like this for about 3 days or so.

Its seed shell is stuck on it. Usually the cotyledons can pop the shell off, but sometimes they need help. You can gently pry the seed case off of the cotyledons and they should open up then.
