Don't forget about Schwarzenegger. On the other hand, we have nutty ass people in the US do stupid shit every day.

This is the result of a person who has his/her entire ego wrapped around his/her money making ability and material things. When the assets are taken away, they have nothing left. Not even the solace of a loving family. I've seen it happen plenty of times. Billions of pills are sold each year in an attempt to relieve that kind of mental anguish.

Agreed, although some seem to have more than their fair share. Ever hear of that radio show game (Adam Corolla.. sp?), Germany or Florida? They pick a whacked out news story and then callers guess if it happened in Germany or Florida. Austrians are rather like Germans with a speech impediment. D'oh! Did I just say that...???

Crap like that maniac pulled is the reason i watch very little tv & even less new's,every day there is some new knife weilding maniac who skinned his children alive or some other henious shit.

I remember one mothers day,driving down the road & hearing a news report of a father who took his kids for a drive,straight to the blast furnace at the foundry he worked at,then he tossed them all inside the furnace,one at a time.

Same bs deal where he was broke & couldnt take it any more.

Sometimes, when I read stuff like what you and panhead just wrote, I try to rationalize and call it population control or something like that. It never works.

Like with what I'm reading about all the quake victims in China, all these kids, most of them only children, died in school buildings that collapsed on them. It's depressing as hell and I try to tell myself that if they were crushed that it had to be an instant, painless death. That's about the only way I can keep from being brought to tears, and I haven't got enough for everyone.
