i thought it would have been very powerful to let him see ground zero. who knows what it might have done.

the only problem i have with this whole situation is that the Minutemen militia speaker was canceled. how can they (Columbia) invite foreign leaders while ignoring fundamental border issues?

Don't worry you little Nazis, the president of the university laid 10 minutes of Bushspeak on Ahmadinejad before introducing him, the most un-professional disgusting affront I've ever seen given to a sitting president of a soveriegn nation. They should have waited for the question and answer period to lay down all that hate, Nazi Germany 1-A.

It appears to me that they let Amadinijihad into the country to speak to those students so they could see how whacky the man really is , I mean continually Denying the Holocaust and saying that there are no Homosexuals in his country shows just how clueless/hatefull he is....The longer he Talked the more the students realized how F'd up he is.

As far as Amadinijihad wanting to lay a wreath at Ground Zero I cant tell if it would have been for the thousands of dead Americans or the 9/11 Hijackers who ran the passenger jets into the building.

med, again you're off base. if you need to call me names at least use one that's accurate.

i was also disgusted by the disrespect that was given to the man. he is clearly warped and full of hate but i don't think it's right to treat guests like that, maybe that's just because of where i'm from but it was embarrassing to me as an American.

i don't know what's in his mind but he would have certainly been willing to accept what was on the mind of a few New Yorkers behind police barricades and i think he should have been allowed to get that.

For Christs sake ,we have been fucking over Iran for nigh on to 30 fucking years because they overthrew our puppet shaw and kidnapped a few Americans from the embasy. They are a soverign nation and aminutjob is their representative, a sitting president. Could there be a better man for that job, one that aknowledges the holocast and e few homosexuals in the country? One that has a better hold on human rights violations? Hell yes! But the disrespect that was given to the man even before he said one word is intolerable in a free society. Why isn't any of his "We just want to get along" part of the speech being played in the media. The media is so full of CIA and other Govt. directorates, that getting the real picture is now impossible. If you didn't get to hear the whole speech and all you get is the medias view, then you are being brainwashed, period.
