What's the easiest way to adjust the height of your hood?

I am looking for a better way to hang my hood so I can adjust the height easier. I am currently using chain but its a real pain to adjust and I am looking at making some sort of pulley system. Any suggestions on a safe way to accomplish this?

chain + eyelet in the ceiling + "s" hook = win

use the S hook as a locker between chain links.

Thats what i am doing now but I am not very happy with it.

These are the best I have those yoyo ones and these and these are wayyyyy better.
my yoyos have problems retracting and have thinner rope and are harder to adjust.

Get ratchet style.

Just picked up 2 heavy duty ratchet pulleys from lowes for $10 a pop works like a charm. No more risk of a stupid chain slipping out of my hand while adjusting. Thanks guys
