What's the Difference Between Sea of Green & Scrog?

I think that one is an abreviation of another, but ppl love using acronyms that noone understands. Makes em feel smart. If its not known colloquially it shouldnt be used to describe material meant to educate the ignorant, such as myself

i think sea of green is having a lot of little plants flowering and scrog is putting a screen above the plants so when they grow the screen pushes the bigger leafs back exposing the bud tops. I think

sea of green shorter plants and pretty much each one only has 1 cola,the main
and scrog is training your plants and shoots to become all main colas,alot more to it,read up and look around on here theres alot of guys that r doing these things and have posts about it as we speak.........gl

One is a SEA one is a SCREEN...

SOG = Sea Of Green

This is many plants grown in a very short harvest plan... IE the sea of little green ones...

SCROG = Screen Of Green

This is the training of any number of plants to have a very wide flat canopy under a screen or type of mesh...

ppl love using acronyms that noone understands.
Thats why there is a whole post, in the noob section i think, on the abbreviations used around growing... =]
