Is it a shit strain(s)? Or just only old strain someone did not take care of very well? Prolly an idiotic question but i've never gotten a definitive answer...

Both, either average genetics to start with or the grower screwed up/the grow went wrong. I just take reg to mean regular, ordinary, nothing special.

reggie is usually mass produced outdoors with little care for appearance. some of which can be very good.
