Well i 1st tried these out on my 1st LED grow....I think it was a 30w floodlight, which is still going strong. So this is actually my 1st grow using mainly floods. Being running this grow since October (Veg) and March (Flower). Im quite happy although i like tinkering with my setup...they are a solid base to build from though.

Ive used a few different types of LEDs in various grows (strip lights, household, DIY's and floods) I found them all good in their own situations...but floods are less of a hassle, good light, cheap and reliable.

Every grow i have done has been successful, but yeah more of a 'they said i couldnt' is why i have used they types of LED's.

no needs for apologies, you gave me the idea of to buy some of these flood lights for flowering tomatos and peppers

Actually I think the cheapest I've paid is 1.1 oz from my last grow for 2 x 300 watt led panels and a 4x4x7 tent haha.

It stated in the info on this light that over 90 per cent of LED lights are manufactured in China. Just like most microwave ovens come from Korea. I found one on EBay that fit my price range and seems to be brighter with built in fans to circulate the air. It came with cord and hangers so all I to do is mount it and plug it in. Will report later on results but after a few hours it really got them green. It's so bright it's almost too much for my closet space but not hot like the HID was. Hoping for great grow with it but will definitely be looking into alternate storage area to contain all the light. It was less than $300.
I shopped for quite a while before buying and was looking for compact size and low price.

I paid £300 for 2 300w panels and I see the same panels go for £200 each all the time on ebay

I once paid £60 for a 600w blackstar but it turned out to be broken so I sent it back from a refund the day after I sent it back the dude emailed me saying I could keep it I was pissed cos it just had one strip of leds out due to one of them being blown

The guy had 3 for sale and they all went for under £70

But I think my best deal was 2 x 200w induction lamps for £200 one 5000k and one 3000k I know it`s not led but I mix and match anyway.....

ebay is a great place to find cheap used lights, even better craigslist
