What's the Chances???

What is the chance of 4 seedlings growing for any of them to be female? Is it purely luck? or is there anything I can do to increase the chance of females growing? Thanks in advance.

some say it's pre-determined in the DNA of the seed, others say environment (temp/humidity/hours of light/day, etc) can influence gender

odds are 2 will be male, the other 2 will be female, with a 2% chance +/- of becoming hermie
