whats the best way to take a clone?????

:? so the last 2 times i have takin a cutting to clone & they die. so whats the best way? I cant afford to go buy more stuff & i need to take a clone now so heres what i have, peat moss cups, soil, perlite, rooting powder, nutes. so is that good eneough? what do i do to insure that my clone lives.:mrgreen::peace::joint:
 
any one plzz help im going to lose my whole crop if i cant replace my dead plant with a clone & i dont know what im doing, help
 
isnt cloning gell better?

its on the faq dude. im not pro but id take a cutting at 45 degree's angel, put it in some gell and replant it.

then again id have to read up on it,
 
try reading the grow faq, top left, man! all the questions you've asked so far have been answered there already!!

It's talking about using rockwool but doesn't matter... you can do the same method with peat pots (just prepare the peat pots as their directions say).

Skip the nutes!!!! Clones can't handle them. Get a humidity dome and check around the house to see if you have a heating pad.

 
I dont root in water, seems to take longer IMO. I just use a humidity tent/dome, and soil that barely has moisture in it, so forces roots to grow out and look for water. Can cut at 45 degree angle and split stem vertically like 1/4 an inch, and scarify the lower skin of the stem to also help speed up rooting.

this is what i use. i tryed just the vita grow had 2 outa 6 take then i got the take root and i dip my cutting in the vita grow & then in the take root u can use the rock wool or pet pods work great also keep humity high and u should do well. i also keep mine in water as soon as i see roots off to my pots i will finish in. make sure u get at least 2 nods dipped. i am 100% on my cutings to take root w/ this teq. hope this help
