If you take cuttings, by time they root and show sex your plant in veg will probably be showing sex anyway, if you take change to 12/12 to sex and the put the lights back to veg then your stressing the plant.

thats exactly what i thought and researched but when i said that to the guys at a local hydroponics store they said there is no way to tell for sure in veg. I definitely see some plants that have the 2 tiny little pistols and some that are the same age that dont. im confused now but what u said was exactly what i thought
