Whats the best temp for a DWC rez?

63-68 degrees..... Anything in the 70's then you should start considering beneficial bacterias " bennies" to prevent root rot and other diseases.

ive hurd 58 degrees. but mine stays between 60 - 70

68 is the perfect temp. I have gotten mine as low as 55 with no problems. 60-70 degrees is pretty damn good
.

what do u use to cool the temps? regular ice packs and switch out from day to day?

well first my res is a cooler and i change out a 1 gal frozen water bottle twice a day. cooler is so much stronger than buckets everyone uses and its made to be light proof and stay cool
