whats the best nutrient base, and additives!

[SIZE]Im thinking about dyna gro, with some advance nutrients additives. But what is your perfect nutrient system that wont put a hole in my pocket(be detailed)[/SIZE]

I think dyna gro: Grow/bloom and their magnesium
Advance nutrients: Bud candy, revive
 
Dont waste your money on additives. dynagro grow should get you from start to finish without a hitch. Don't buy into the hype of thinking you need five bottles and a feeding chart.

He is actually right! I use AN with a few of their additives and it is awsome! What you should do though is pick a base nutrient like dyna or AN or whatever is your choice, run just that to create a base line then start with additives that are easy to understand like calcium.

The problem with AN and all the additives is their is a learning curve which most growers prefer not to learn. Not understanding when and why your adding something is not gardening.

Form your own opinion and do some research on the issueand you will make the right choice for you.
 
I use a base nute of NPK 6-3-8 the whole way through veg and flower.

The additives I use are
Calcium
Magnesium
Potassium Silicat
PK1314
Cannazym
Rhizotonic

No fancy bottles of this or that.

Just simple.

1L bottles of each of these lasts me around 2 harvests.

NPK 6-3-8 costs me £16
Calcium £11 lasts a very long time
Magnesium £11 lasts a very long time
PK1314 £13 lasts a very long time
Potassium Silicat £12 lasts a very long time
Rhizotonic £26 lasts 2-3harvests
Cannazym £22 lasts 2 harvests.


I like simple methods with good yields.

Anywhere around +350g under 400w using the above.


But as others have mentioned, you can't add something without understanding why or if its even needed.

Nutes are only as good as the person mixing them.

Jacks Cassic/Citrus. Silica although I have no scientific proof its needed, I simply notice stronger stems in clones given v. not applied. Cal/mag if needed.

Maybe molasses to feed the beneficial microbes. But fuck the additives and the idiots who believe that it's the solution to bigger buds. .. its not, a healthy plant, grown with care and patience along with healthy genetics is the key to a happy harvest
