What's something non-toxic to plants I can use as sealant?

I have a daisy aeroponic cloner and something in it cracked so I need to seal it with something to stop it from leaking so my clones don't die.

Aquarium Silicone is what I would use .

How long does it take for that stuff to dry and not come off? If I just put the clones in water will they stay alive?
