whats northern lights like for yeild??

northen lights is a great allround strain, the yeild is avarage, i grew northenlights crossed with bigbud in my last grow and it was a realy good yeilder, 5oz per plant only vegged for 3weeks.

hi roseman, i love northenlights, just wondering what ur idea of big plant is?? how tall was the 1 u had 4-5 ounces off??
mine got to about 2.5-3ft and i had 5oz per plant.

Other than my first indoor hydro grow, I always VEG for 5 weeks, and sometimes 5 weeks and a few days. I VEG until the plant is an adult, a mature adult. (don't make sense to me to get a child pregnant, or a young puppy, or a young pot plant)
The plants with 4 or 5 ounces are normally 42 to 46 inches tall. The one that gave me 7 ounces had 13 tops, from Topping and Fimming like crazy and got 46 inches at the top of the tallest cola..
Look:
that biggest one gave me 7 ounces of dried heavily manicured buds. The medium gave me 3 and half, the runt gave me 3/4.

This year I have one 55 inches tall, my largest yet to date. It has one bud on top 20 inches tall and 3 and half to 4 inches thick.
It is going to be harvested this Thursday.

p.s roseman i usualy veg until i see signs of pre-flower, i wait until the plants are sexualy mature and ready for 12/12, that way u get the optimum results.
in some cases tho i have been forced to flower earlier after 3-4weeks vegging.

there are several types of NL from #1-#5 or maybe more From my experience NL is a a fast finishing medium producer but I've only tried a couple of them #1 and #5 it is ready in 6 wks and can be a real mite magnet if you have a vulnerable strain there are many stronger strains but not many faster:
