I have a drip (more like a spray) system now, and ive been told my issues are one of "overwatering" so i started askin around, and im getting mixed answers. Im runnin (2) 3x6 tables 16 hugo cubes each and 2 xxxl 1000w hoods per table. So i got the power, i got the right resipie, i know what my friends are pullin each crop, so my question is....how could hand water be so effective, and is it im just not running the right drip system

thanks for any advice....

well even w/ hand watering you're still gonna need to use the right timing so as not to overwater. i don't think handwatering is what you need, i've only heard that people who ebb/flow use handwatering to flush. i think yours is a problem of water timing. you should just get a higher gph dripper to water faster, and have a bit more time in between. glad to see another serious grower pop up on RIU. :peace:

The system im using now has only 1 line per cube, im thinkin this might be part of the problem, im building a 4 line per cube system now, and when turned on, it drains a 5 gal bucket in 10 seconds. Thats for 18 cubes, im thinkin thats a lot of water, this last run, (overwatered) i was running the feed once a day for 20 min, i have been told this is way way waaaay!!!! To much, so knowing the system i have now can run for 1 min, and produce the same water volume, how do i know what is to much...?

i guess just test it out, but that sounds very legit. fast watering, multiple drip sites, more air time. all great things, i think it'll rock.

Thanks bro, always nice to see some helpful growers out there, most people act like im askin for there social security #

haha, no problem bro... maybe its because i'm medical, maybe its just the fact that i got so much help starting out, but its a great feeling to think that my mistakes can so easily become other people's wisdom. :peace:
