And yes I know there are lights that have a combination of both. Most high dollar grow lights seem to be based on one or the other. It has been only recently that Cree and Philips' Lumileds are offering an assortment of SMDs designed for horticulture....even going as far as saying this product line is for greenhouses and this is for vertical growing.
